California Raisins Mexico took mexican bakers to a Baking Training in the Culinary Institute of America in California.
The Raisin Committee of California participated as sponsor in the Second Foodservice Cup of Bakery in the Expo Sirha.
The Third Master Baking Seminar was organized in Mexico City with speakers Didier Rosada and Juan Manuel Martinez Solarte.
During the Christmas season a Co-branded campaign was carried out in order to promote Panettone and Fruitcake products labeled with California Raisins stamp.
At the beginning of September, the winners of the first California Raisins Bakery Contest in Mexico had the opportunity to attend the Culinary Institute of America in Napa, California along with a group of winning bakers and chefs from Asia and Europe. Cultivation fields were visited, grapes were harvested and packing plants were visited.
The first Master Bakery Seminar was taught by Craig Ponsford, professor at the Higher Institute of Gastronomy.
