Participation of Zespri in Kids Emotion

The event was held on July 3rd and 4th, 2015, in Pabellón Cuemanco in southern Mexico City.
The aim of the participation was to disseminate nutritional information and health benefits of Zespri kiwifruits to the attending families.

Around 80 families received information and tasted kiwifruit of both varieties covered with chocolate. (Sungold and Green)



Third Marymount Family Marathon with Blueberries

As part of the Marymount College tradition, the third family marathon was held at Chapultepec Park in Cuernavaca, Morelos. More than 500 families attended and enjoyed a day full of recreational activities. 
The participation of Blueberries had the objective of promoting this little fruit as a healthy snack and easy to combine. 

Craft Beer Study

During the second quarter of 2015, Imalinx conducted a study throughout Mexico identifying the main consumer segments and the preferred type of beer depending on the region. 

The methodology of the study was carried out by visiting stores to know the availability and offer of products, as well as interviews with potential clients such as importers, owners of restaurants and bars. The results showed a total of 63 million potential consumers in Mexico. 

The study helped the National Brewers Association in the United States to determine which exporters have the greatest potential and a guide in Spanish for Craft Beer was developed. 

Seminar for bakers of CANAINPA

Imalinx as part of the industry service program, worked in conjunction with the National Chamber of Bakery and Related Industries (CANAINPA, for its acronym in Spanish) to develop the 2 seminars, with the aim of presenting the benefits and applications of cooking with the California Raisins, highlighting its benefits and facilitating its consumption.

Both events were attended by 50 bakers…

Bakery Seminar in Corbuse

Imalinx in conjunction with the Culinary Institute Corbuse, held a bakery seminar with the aim of presenting the benefits and applications of baking with California Raisins.

The evaluations showed that there is a lot of opportunity to integrate the raisins into the kitchen of new generations.

Commercial Mission to Colombia with Added Value Food Exporters

A trade mission was coordinated to visit three major Colombian cities where potential buyers from the country met. 
 
The commercial mission took place from the 23rd to the 27th of February in Bogotá, Medellín and in Cartagena, more than 150 meetings were held with potential buyers in the country where they had the opportunity to present their products. 
 
The Agro-Commercial Office, MS Consultoría and the Chamber of Commerce of Cartagena attended the event.

Seminar on Chilean Prunes

 
As part of the program to follow up the positioning and promotion of Prunes From Chile in Mexico, a seminar was held in La Hacienda de los Morales, within the framework of the festival “Sabores de Chile.” 
The objective was to inform the 30 attendees about the campaign that was developed in 2013-2014, the exports 2014 to Mexico, harvest and projections for the year 2015 and importers and wholesalers support. 

Expo Cuisine & Flavours

During the Expo Cocina y Sabores, Popcorn USA participated with various activities such as sampling product, children’s activities and a presentation with the renowned Costa Rican Chef Juan Carlos Delgado. 

 
The Chef made a delicious recipe, a salad with topping made of popcorn. 

California Agriculture Department Delegation Visits Mexico

The Secretary of the California Department of Food and Agriculture, Karen Ross, visited Mexico with a delegation of 16 people from different sectors of food and agriculture. 

 
A tour was conducted in one of the most emblematic markets in Mexico City, “Mercado Jamaica”, also Imalinx coordinated special events with high profile guests, appointments in SAGARPA, ANTAD, Wal-Mart and a business panel with Mexican importers.

Zespri’s Health Specialists Program

The events held by Zespri in the summer of 2014 in Mexico and El Salvador brought together local media and health specialists, with the aim of sharing more information about the company, the varieties of kiwifruits and the nutritional benefits of Zespri kiwifruits. 

Attendees enjoyed a delicious breakfast prepared with both varieties of kiwifruit: Green and Sungold; and take home a premium kit with product and vip gifts.  

As a positive result, Dr. Rodríguez Navarrete posted on Twitter some photos of the event and positive comments about the launch of the Zespri brand and gave recognition to the Imalinx team.
